There’s a lot to do around Madbush Falls. Biking, hiking, swimming, food and the list goes on. We’ve taken the best of everything and made a weekend of it. With Madbush Falls as your homebase you’ll explore the valley by bike, visit incredible swimming holes, and eat some of the best food you can find.

The Mad River Valley changes with the seasons, but one thing stays the same: it's always a great place to get outside. Whether you're chasing waterfalls in the spring, spending long summer days riding bikes and swimming in the river, or catching peak foliage in the fall, there's never a bad time to visit. Here's what you can expect from each season before diving into the itinerary.

Spring
The valley comes alive as the snow melts. Waterfalls are at their peak, trails begin to dry out, and the mountains turn bright green. It's a quieter time to explore and a great season for hiking, gravel riding, and taking in the scenery.

Summer
This is when the valley is firing on all cylinders. Ride miles of world-class trails, swim in crystal-clear swimming holes, hike to mountain summits, and cap off the day with great food and a cold beer.

Fall
Cool mornings, colorful forests, and perfect riding weather make fall one of the best times to visit. Spend your days biking or hiking through brilliant foliage before relaxing back at Madbush Falls.
