The highest mountain in the Northfield range, Scragg, is a local favorite but generally quiet and off the beaten path. Incredible views of the Monroe Skyline (Mt Abraham, Sugarbush and Mad River Glen) on the Green Mountain Spine and await you at the top. Only a 5 minute drive to the trailhead from Madbush, Scragg is a gem.
