Description:

This creative route takes you along the Mad River on the Mad River Path, way up the lower flanks of the Green Mountains, past Warren Village (refueling at the Warren Store and swimming in Freeman Brook) and then up the incredible Fuller Hill Rd with huge 360 degree views.  Continue the climb to the lower flanks of the Northfield Mountains with big views of the Green Mountains before one last small bump up Airport rd with one last big view before a monstrous downhill back to Madbush Falls.

Our route starts with an optional pedal along the Mad River Path to avoid Rt 100. This section of path is not heavily ridden so it can be a little slow and has one section with a few stairs to walk down. But it also features a really cool bridge swimming options and zero people, so we recommend it!
